Learning Zones at RD American School

Our vision begins with space, space to wonder, connect, and grow.

In collaboration with award winning architect Trung Le, a pioneer in designing schools for 21st century learners, we are creating a one-of-a-kind learning space driven by the the pedagogical understanding that children learn best through movement, creativity, and collaboration.
With over 35 years of experience leading Cannon Design’s education practice, Trung Le is internationally recognized and was a key contributor to The Third Teacher (2010), a publication which reimagines learning spaces as active partners in education.
Our purpose built learning spaces, or ‘habitats of wonder’, extend beyond traditional classrooms. From the Sound Lab to the Visual Thinking Lab, students engage in hands on, creative, and inquiry driven experiences that spark curiosity and deepen their understanding.
Learners are supported within a shared community and nurtured by Lead Teachers, with additional guidance from Learning Assistants and subject specialists. This team based approach ensures strong relationships and personalized learning.
